  Heidi Takes A Mommy Domme

  Chapter 1

H eidi saw it coming. Even though she’d been stubbornly waiting in the parking lot for an hour, deep down she knew she’d been stood up. Again.

It was a never-ending cycle. Her mom would say, “Heidi, you never come to visit anymore,” so Heidi would make plans and at the very last minute, without fail, they backed out. Her sister never had that problem. They’d once driven five hours to go to Greta’s dog’s graduation from puppy training.

It was demoralizing. She understood why, deep down. Her parents had made it clear they didn’t agree with “her lifestyle”. Still, they hadn’t cut her off. They’d just left her hanging time after time - the end result being she was never allowed to be upset, and the cycle would continue.

Deflated, she got out of her car and went inside the restaurant. Wearing a pale yellow blouse with buttons down the front, Heidi pressed the soft folds of her blue pleated skirt down. Her parents took every opportunity to criticize what she wore. The skirt and button-down demonstrated a happy medium between her usual style and her parent’s ultra-conservative preferences. At 24 years old, she still cared about what they thought of her.

The restaurant had gotten busy since she had first parked - there was some kind of party taking up an entire section of the place. Mariachi music cut through the din when their boisterous chatter lulled. Heidi felt grateful that her usual booth was free, so she didn’t have to wait long.

Her spot was close to the kitchen and the ladies room, to the left side of the massive bar that divided the restaurant into three sections. It felt secluded even though it wasn’t. She ordered herself a margarita and an extra shot of tequila. When the server left with her drink order, she checked her phone to see what the deal with her parents was. She had a text from her mom.

“Sorry, honey. Dad got called into work tonight and I’m not feeling well.”

Heidi took a deep breath and looked around. She should have probably just gone home after this long. Her eyes clouded. Waves of anger and frustration washed over her. Heidi felt so tired of being mad. When she texted her mom back, she took special care not to let her emotions bleed through. Letting them show would not help her.

“That sucks. Feel better, Mom. Love ya.”

Love ya. Heidi scoffed. When had she learned to detach herself from reality? She wanted to say it was after she came out. But part of her knew she’d learned to do it long before.

When her margarita arrived, Heidi wiped her tears away and logged into her social media to see if anyone wanted to meet up. There, she saw photos her parents had been tagged in with her sister from an hour ago. They’d driven out to see her again and Heidi had not been invited.

"If you're just going to lie at least cover your tracks," Heidi said in exasperation and slammed her phone down. It flew under the table. She told herself she'd worry about her phone later. Right then she just wanted to eat Mexican food and get drunk.

After a bit, some women from the party on the other side of the restaurant passed Heidi’s booth on their way to the bathroom. She thought she recognized one of them but she couldn’t figure out why.

When they came back out, the woman in strappy red heels and a white wraparound dress, stumbled and landed herself in Heidi’s booth. Heidi smirked and in the chaos, she got a nice view down the woman’s dress - a flash of lacey red lingerie to match her heels. It put her off her guard.

“Oh fuck,” the woman laughed. Her friends laughed along with her and were about to help her up when the woman grabbed Heidi’s hand, and exclaimed, “You’re Marjie’s girl, aren't you? Why! I haven’t seen you since you were a kid.”

“Yep, that’s me,” Heidi said. “I knew I recognized you when I saw you pass, but I don’t remember how. You’re friends with my mom?”

The lady glanced toward her friends with a comical look on her face and then cocked her head at Heidi, “Know her? We were good friends through college. But people drift apart. That’s okay though, Marjie and I’ll be seeing a lot more of each other soon. I’m the new principal at her middle school. I was hoping to surprise her next week when people set up classrooms. You won’t tell will you?”

Heidi shook her head and pulled her hand free. “I’m sorry, I don’t remember your name,” she said in apology.

“Call me Donna,” the striking woman said. Heidi met her eyes straight on and mentally compared this woman’s kindness to her mother’s coldness. It felt overwhelming - she couldn’t stop her eyes from watering, so she looked away.

“Honey, are you alright? You look like you’ve been crying.”

“Oh, no. Just something in my eye. It was nice to see you again,” Heidi said with a sniff, looking toward the window as she dried her eyes.

Donna got out of the booth and stood there for a moment whispering to her friends. Heidi couldn’t make out what they were saying if she tried, but she was vaguely aware they hadn’t left as she was retrieving her phone from under the table.

Just as she was about to get back to drinking, she was interrupted by a well-manicured hand wrapping around her elbow and tugging her gently out of the booth. She looked up to see Donna smirking and one of her friends laying a twenty-dollar bill on the table.

“Hold on to your drink and come join us. Can’t have a pretty young thing like you eating alone. Tonight is for smiling.”

Heidi took a guess that the party was to celebrate Donna landing her new position at the middle school.

Heidi allowed herself to be whisked along into the group of women. They were all older and had a “well kept” look to them. Donna was the only one without a ring on her finger, Heidi noticed.

She laughed at the stories they told. She shared an order of fajitas with Donna who wasn’t afraid to get close to her.

Heidi took a piece of steak that was more than she bargained for. She tried to cut it with her knife and it flew across the table. She sunk into her chair in embarrassment, only for Donna to come to her rescue.

“Let me take care of that for you. The knives in this place suck. Let’s see, a cute girl like you must
enjoy small pieces huh?”

Donna’s teasing made Heidi smile. She played along with it. “Oh yes. Bite-sized pieces please.”

“Such a polite young lady,” Donna purred.

After that, the evening passed pleasantly.

More than once, Donna’s hand rested on her opposite shoulder, and occasionally stroked her knee beneath the table. She enjoyed the attention. She found herself wishing those small moments of affection meant more than what they actually did. She wanted them to be flirtations. More likely, she supposed they were the reassuring touch of a mentor. Even though she was enjoying herself, she worried the questions and stories would turn in her direction. Somehow, that didn’t happen until well into the evening.

By then, most of the party had gone. Donna and Heidi remained along with two other women who were playing “look at my grandchild” with their phones. It was then that Donna turned in her chair to face Heidi directly and took her hand.

“I’m glad you took a chance on us tonight, honey.”

Heidi smiled and looked down at their hands. Heidi’s thumb stroked the outside of Donna’s palm in responsive appreciation of the touch. She pressed her lips together. There was a lot she wanted to say, but the first thing that came out of her mouth wasn’t one of them.

“It’s hard to believe you and my mother were good friends. You’re so warm.”

Donna cocked her head back and laughed. It had a warm ring to it, not cruel or belittling. She said, “Well, your momma didn’t like me much by the end. Your father thought I was a bad influence, and your momma couldn’t keep that opinion to herself. Seemed to agree with him, and naturally... well. We fought. Maybe your father was right. I became the first gay principal in the state so I had some kind of influence on people, didn’t I?”

Heidi put her other hand over Donna’s and smiled. “She doesn’t... agree with my lifestyle, either.”

Donna shook her head and reassured Heidi, “She doesn’t need to. She just needs to be your mother and love you.”

Heidi slackened her grip on Donna’s hands and felt her chest get tight. Her eyes watered and she closed her eyes. “I wish she would. But that’s not how it is, really. She lets me down all the time, and I know it’s not right for me to tell that to someone I barely know, much less her boss, but I guess you understand that, right? You were friends with her. When she shuts you out, she goes onto shine that light on other people. It... really, really hurts.”

“Feels like something’s missing,” Donna supplied.

“Yeah. My mom is missing. But it’s not just her, she’s just the one most... vocal. The one putting the sign up for emotional...” Heidi stopped, ragged in trying to word her thoughts, her emotions, “emotional availability.. but there’s nothing but abuse for my time, my effort, and I can’t do it anymore,” Heidi finished.

“Is that why you were crying earlier?” Donna asked. She put her hand on Heidi’s cheek and scooted closer over the bench seat.

“Yeah. My parents stood me up tonight. Not for the first time either.”

“Darlin’, I feel terrible that your mom is still playing these same games. But part of being an adult, and a child of someone like that, is that you can walk away. You can find your own family, your own people, and you don’t have to tolerate that if you don’t want to.”

Heidi lifted her arm to wipe her face again and sniffed with a nod. “Yeah. I read all the blogs, and I know deep down it’s been time to move on for a while. It’s just hard to wrap my whole head around it, cause she’ll give me just enough hope sometimes that maybe, just maybe, they’ll be there for me... but it’s just a mirage.”

“It’s a hard lesson. I learned it. I think a good chunk of people like us have to if we want to thrive,” Donna said.

Donna smiled at Heidi like she was on the verge of a bad idea.

“You know, I could be a stand-in if you want it. Anytime you need me, just call. Your mama would probably kill me if she knew I offered, but fuck her. I’d be happy to be your substitute mom.”

Heidi laughed, "Oh man, that... is so brilliant. We could do the whole Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas thing."

"We should! You’d love my family. They’ve always wished I had kids. It would be as if I’ve brought a daughter home to them."

"I'd love to meet them but..."

  “But what?”

“I don’t know if I really could see you how a daughter should see a mother.”

Donna gave her another one of those knowing looks. "Oh, honey. I didn’t mean to overstep. If that's how you feel, no worries. I feel like it would be a shame to lose touch though."

"I don't want to lose touch with you. I just... don't think I could see you that way," Heidi said. “You sure don’t look anything like my mom.” To reassure her, she went on, "I had a wonderful time tonight. If you hadn't scooped me out of my booth I'd have been crying my eyes out into a molten lava cake."

"Oh, yum! Don't tempt me, it's been difficult to keep the weight off."

Heidi laughed. "Well, that's something I can help you with. I'm a personal trainer at a gym, though I’m sure you already work out with legs like that."

Donna smiled and reached to push some of Heidi's hair out of her face. "You have a lovely laugh, you know. "

Heidi realized that the table was empty except for them at this point. The waitstaff had already cleared their dishes and most of the restaurant was dark. The remaining female server was talking to an older man near the host booth.

"Wow, we really shut this place down," Heidi said, shivering when Donna pushed her hair back. Her thumb traced Heidi's cheek lightly. The older woman’s glossy lips parted and her dark brown eyes appraised Heidi's face when Heidi looked into them.

"I had a terrible thought, just now," Heidi said in a low, breathy tone. She didn't move.

"What could that be," Donna whispered back.

"What my mother would do if she knew I wanted to kiss you," Heidi said.

"You shouldn’t be thinking about her at all when I kiss you," Donna said, her voice low yet emphatic. She pitched forward, pulling Heidi's face to meet hers, and lifted her other hand to graze along the slope of Heidi's neck. Their lips met and danced. It made Heidi want more.

It almost stopped. Almost, but Heidi wouldn’t let it. She moved into Donna’s lap, aware that her long tan legs were now on display for anyone to see as they dangled at Donna’s sides, her pleated blue skirt ridden clean up to her hips.

It was gratifying to feel Donna’s hand tightened in her hair when their bodies came together. Heidi pressed her chest into the woman below her and slightly rocked her hips over Donna’s white-clad lap. She felt more than heard, Donna’s moan. Heidi knew they shouldn’t be doing this in public but she didn’t care. She would rather risk getting dragged out than let that kiss go unfinished. Her fingers found their way into Donna’s lush dark hair as their tongues played chase. Heidi’s teeth nibbled the outside of Donna’s mouth when Donna needed air and moved from the outside of her lips to her jaw, then her neck.

She was pleased when she felt the older woman’s hands move beneath her skirt to trace the edge of panties, along either cheek of her ass.

Donna’s voice was breathy. Her manicured nails lightly scratched down Heidi’s hips and back up again with the attention of Heidi’s wandering teeth. She said, “As much as I like having you in my lap, we should both go. I have a breakfast meeting with the superintendent tomorrow morning. Can’t be late on the first day.”

Heidi’s eyes closed as her forehead laid on Donna’s shoulder. As if sensing that Heidi didn’t want to move, Donna wrapped her arms around the younger woman and rubbed her back. Her head turned and her lips kissed the pierced lobe of Heidi’s ear before asking, “Do you want me to take you home? Neither of us should drive but I can have someone pick us up.”

Donna felt the movement of Heidi’s head against her breast as she nodded. The young woman was hard to resist for Donna. Not just because of how good it felt to have a ho
t young thing straddling her lap, but because of how juicy it was. Her old enemy’s daughter, ripe for the taking. A kiss had been one thing but there was a level of professionalism Donna wanted to maintain in her new role as Principal, and she couldn’t do that if one of her teachers accused her of a personal vendetta. Not a good start.

“I can get my own Uber to my place...” Heidi mumbled. She didn’t realize how pitiful she sounded. Donna did.

“I mean it. Let’s go together. I don’t want to let you out of my arms. This way I don’t have to yet.”

Heidi pulled her head back and looked into Donna’s eyes. She didn’t want to smile, but she did it anyway.

  “Okay.”

Donna smiled back and kissed Heidi’s nose.

“Good girl. Now, let’s get up and out of here.”

They left generous tips on the table before they headed outside. Heidi went to her car to grab her gym bag and met up with Donna when the driver pulled up.

When they were in the backseat, Donna reached over and pulled Heidi closer to her. The younger woman leaned into her. They held hands. The driver didn’t make small talk. They were grateful.

During the journey, Heidi nearly fell asleep three times. Each time, she became alert by the unexpected escalation of Donna’s tender affections. The first was the touch of Donna’s lips to her temple. They brushed back and forth, gently worrying the soft peak of her hair. The second time, Donna’s arm had looped around her waist. Her fingers brushed back and forth along her outer thigh.

The third time was much more entrancing. Donna’s other hand had taken hold of her knee and pulled it over her lap. It then moved along her inner thigh and gently pet against the fabric of her pale cotton panties. Her touches were patient, steady, and when Heidi looked up at her to respond, Donna silenced her with a kiss that left no room for thought. By that time, the driver was slowing down considerably and pulled up in front of Heidi’s apartment.

Heidi exhaled in frustration. Her panties were getting damp, and she wanted to invite the older woman in. But it wasn’t to be. Donna got out of the car and handed Heidi her gym bag.
